Five years in, NG-NeXT has shipped four AI products in production, built a dedicated bare-metal cloud, delivered custom software for enterprise, prototyped hardware, and embedded AI consultants inside Fortune-tier Indian businesses. Same team, same building, same operating principles.
NG-NeXT Tech Private Limited was founded in 2020 in Muzaffarpur, Bihar — not Bangalore, not Gurgaon. Founder Nishant Gauraw brought eighteen years of capital-markets discipline to a deliberate decision: build technology from a tier-3 city, with first-principles engineering, not VC-fuelled spectacle.
For five years we shipped AI products: SkillWise for assessment, SelectRight for hiring, KnowledgeHub for document intelligence, NaviVibe for consumer AI. Real customers, real load, real bills. The cloud bill crossed ₹4 Lakh a month.
So we built our own infrastructure. Pinned cores. Dedicated RAM. Boring, well-understood compute. We measured carefully. The same workloads ran 2× to 4× faster on our metal — at half the cost.
The first external proof came soon after: Jain University ran one major exam cycle on Google Cloud for ₹28 Lakh. We ran the same cycle on a single dedicated RootServe node for ₹7 Lakh. Three lakh exams. Ten thousand concurrent users. Zero incidents. That sentence is the most powerful one in this company's history.
That ratio is not magic. It is what happens when you stop paying for elasticity you do not need, abstractions you do not understand, and US-jurisdiction you cannot audit.
What started as one AI company is now five disciplines under one roof — because the problems our customers brought us did not respect category boundaries, and we did not feel like turning them away.
