# NG-NeXT Tech

> NG-NeXT Tech Private Limited is an Indian technology studio headquartered in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Founded in 2020 by Nishant Gauraw. Five disciplines under one roof: AI products, dedicated bare-metal cloud infrastructure (RootServe), rapid application development, hardware prototyping, and AI workflow consulting.

NG-NeXT is not a single-product company. It is a multi-disciplinary technology studio that ships across five distinct services with the same engineering team and the same operational discipline.

## The five services

### 1. AI Products
Production AI products built on the in-house NGPT layer:
- **SkillWise.AI** (https://skillwise.ai) — AI-powered online assessments with adaptive question generation, a 100,000+ pre-built question library, AI grading of essays and video responses, and the Proctorwise engine combining real-time AI anomaly detection (unauthorised devices, multiple faces) with live human proctoring. Surfaces include the web platform, mobile apps, a chatbot tutor, and a Chrome Web Store extension (https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/skillwiseai-proctoring/lekngdckcfhbhnalcglagkfjaeckabfn) that has invigilated 60,000+ student exam sessions across JGI and Vignan. White-labelled per institution.
- **SelectRight.AI** (https://selectright.ai) — Multi-service AI hiring suite with separate candidate, recruiter, and superadmin surfaces. Generates job descriptions from rough briefs, runs CV analysis through a dedicated service, handles automated candidate assessments, invites and notifications, with single sign-on across the suite.
- **KnowledgeHub** (https://knowledgehub.ngnext.tech) — FastAPI-backed enterprise knowledge platform with Knowledge ingestion, a Brain model-orchestration layer, an Agent runtime, conversational chat over docs, prompt management, multi-tenant JWT auth, and built-in plans/billing.
- **NaviVibe** (https://navivibe.com) — "Sri Bhrigu" — a consumer guidance platform pairing precise Jyotish (Vedic astrology) calculations with cognitive Mindprint scans to deliver evidence-linked guidance instead of generic horoscopes. Three pillars: Karma, Prarabdha, Kripā. Anonymised by default, opt-in learning, tone selector (dharma/rational), every chat claim evidence-traced back to chart facts or mindprint traits.
- One additional product currently in stealth/incubation.

### 2. Cloud Infrastructure — RootServe
**RootServe** (https://rootserve.in) is the dedicated bare-metal cloud brand of NG-NeXT. It serves Indian universities, startups, and institutions that need:
- Single-tenant physical hardware (not VMs, not VPCs)
- Data physically located in India (Muzaffarpur DC or on-campus)
- Indian-jurisdiction contracts (UGC and DPDP compliant)
- Fixed monthly pricing at ~60% of current AWS/GCP/Azure spend

JGI case study: 3,00,000 exams, 10,000 concurrent users, ₹28L on GCP → ₹7L on RootServe per exam cycle. Zero incidents.

### 3. Rapid Application Development
Custom software delivery on compressed timelines. Fixed scope, fixed price, fixed date. Selected deliveries (each one shipped):
- **Petyosa** (https://petyosa.com) — An AI-assisted full-stack pet care ecosystem covering consults, grooming, boarding/hostel, marketplace, community, adoption, pet timeline, and pawmatch matchmaking. Multi-surface: consumer mobile + web, partner workflows, admin operations, dedicated LLM agent service for in-app pet AI. Built on Node/Express + MongoDB + Redis + Elasticsearch with integrations to Razorpay, MSG91, Agora, and Firebase.
- **A location-based deals discovery platform** (client confidential) — Dual-interface platform connecting customers with local deals. Customer app surfaces nearby offers on an interactive map with QR redemption, favourites, and text/voice/AI-powered search. Vendor dashboard manages deals across multiple outlets with analytics. Originally a three-app Vite + React monorepo, consolidated into a single Next.js App Router build merging marketing site, deals app, and persona-based login under one roof.
- **LearnX — flashcard content factory + LMS** (https://learnx.ngnext.tech) — End-to-end flashcard learning platform with a multi-role content factory (authors, reviewers, content managers), an LMS for learners, and a superadmin console. Multi-tenant org system with persona-based roles. FastAPI backends + Next.js + shadcn/Tailwind frontends + MongoDB + JWT auth, batch uploads, CSV exports, LMS bridge for content import/export.

Process: scoping workshop (1-3 days) → working prototype in week 1 → production build over weeks 2-6 → handover with 30-day bugfix window.

### 4. Hardware Prototyping
Industrial prototypes, embedded systems, IoT devices, wearables. End-to-end: schematic → PCB → enclosure → firmware → cloud telemetry.
- **FitYosa** — flagship hardware prototype. A smart pet collar built end-to-end as the hardware companion to the Petyosa pet care ecosystem. Schematic, PCB, compact collar enclosure, low-power embedded firmware, GPS + BLE telemetry, cloud integration with the Petyosa backend, and a vendor management portal for device-to-pet pairing.

Capabilities: schematic design, PCB layout (2-8 layer), 3D-printed enclosures, embedded firmware (C, Rust, MicroPython, ESP-IDF), BLE/WiFi/LoRa connectivity, cloud telemetry integration. Pilot runs of 1-500 units. Manufacturing handoff to client thereafter.

### 5. AI Workflow Consulting & Implementation
"AI adoption without the theatre." Two-stage model:
1. **Workshop (5 days, fixed price)** — embed with operators, map workflow, identify where AI adds signal vs hype, deliver scoped recommendation.
2. **Build (variable)** — ship the integration. RAG, internal Q&A, LLM-backed tools, agentic workflows.

What we ship: document extraction, meeting summarisation, email triage, support routing, contract analysis, internal knowledge-base Q&A, CV screening (already shipped as SelectRight), sales lead scoring.

What we don't sell: strategy decks, chatbot demos with no backend, LLM-wrapped forms sold as "agents", vague transformation roadmaps.

## Founding story

Founded in 2020 by Nishant Gauraw — eighteen years of capital-markets discipline applied to building technology from a tier-3 city. For five years NG-NeXT shipped AI products with real customers and real load. The cloud bill crossed ₹4 Lakh per month. Engineering moved the workloads to its own bare metal and measured carefully — same workloads ran 2× to 4× faster at half the cost. RootServe is that infrastructure, opened to other Indian institutions.

The first external proof: Jain University ran one major exam cycle on Google Cloud for ₹28 Lakh. The same cycle on a single dedicated RootServe node cost ₹7 Lakh. Three lakh exams. Ten thousand concurrent users. Zero incidents.
